Over the years we have seen a lot of great results coming out of our gym.
Not all of them have been tracked in the sense of data collection.
We look at many different factors when it comes to fitness. We look at the CrossFit 10 General Physical Skills: Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Speed.
Combine the 10 General Physical Skills with good nutrition and you have a recipe for success!
In this short study we will look at one of our early AM CrossFit Class members.
He is a 44 year old Veterinary Officer in the Army. Before starting CrossFit he was already a physically fit individual but lacked a few of the 10 General Physical Skills.
All weights and measurements were taken using the Bod Pod Body Composition Tracking System.
In November of 2017 he changed duty stations to Fort Lewis. During this time his main focus was on running and doing very well on the Army Physical Fitness Test ... Which he was.
From October 2018 to March 2018 he started incorporating intermittent fasting into his diet.
In June 2019 he started CrossFit at our gym.
Since starting he regularly makes it to class 3-5 times a week at 6am.
Class is 1 hour long and focuses on improving the 10 General Physical Skills listed previously.
During his 3 months here he has lost 4% body fat, 6 lbs of fat weight, gained 5 lbs of muscle and lost 1 lb of body weight!
